
To the right is the
famed $55 million gold, ebony and enamel salt cellar created by the noted Renaissance master Benvenuto Cellini. In May 2003, a thief broke into the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna, Austria and made off with this masterpiece of salt art. Last Tuesday, the FBI named the stolen Cellini salt cellar
5th among the top 10 art crimes in history.
